Tigh Na Coille Bed and Breakfast is a great base to discover all that the Isle of Skye has to offer.Just a short walk to the centre of Portree - all shops, restaurants, bars and pubs, bus station, library, banks and the harbour, are within easy reach. We provide comfortable, clean accommodation with free internet and safe, secure off-street parking. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and their own TV with digital channels and DVD player. Our bathroom facilities are shared giving guests the choice between a long, hot soak in the bath or a quick steamy shower. Facilities are checked throughout the day to ensure they are constantly clean and tidy.We are pet friendly and have a travel cot available for younger guests. Our house is set within it's own large private garden which we encourage our guests to use. Our circular driveway is also set back from the main road and provides secure overnight parking for cars, motorbikes or even bicycles.If you'd like to get the most out of your stay on the island, we can offer suggestions about places of interest or tour guidestripswalks so you can enjoy what the area has to offer. Whether you are a keen walker, a food or whisky enthusiast, researching your family history, taking in the museums and castles, or you want to watch the abundant wildlife it's all here for the asking in this truly beautiful part of the world. Please note this is our family home and we do have dogs on the premises. They are never in the guest rooms and kept out of the way whilst our guests are around unless we are sure visitors are ok with them...they are friendly!

Directions

Please make a note of our directions as mobile networks can have a patchy reception on Skye. We don't have a house number but the name of the house is on our gate.Those arriving by car: From the Skye bridge travel along the A87 heading for Portree. As you enter Portree take the left turn for Dunvegan and Uig on the A87. Go through the traffic lights and Tigh-na-Coille will be approx 300 metres on the left. We are the house behind the wall, directly opposite the gas station.Those arriving by bus: from Somerled Square we are approximately a 510 minute walk. Turn right along Bridge Road then right up Dunvegan Road. Follow the road straight through the traffic lights and you will find Tigh-na-Coille approx 300 metres on the left.
